Navigate the sprawling, multi-story environment, collecting vital tools, keys, and components scattered across various hidden rooms and locked compartments. Success requires meticulous search patterns and precise inventory management, as you can only carry one item at a time.

Granny is an auditory hunter; mastering sound management is absolutely crucial for survival. She actively responds to any noise, checking specific rooms and placing bear traps around the property to obstruct your progress. You must learn to use noisemakers strategically—like dropping a decoy item—to lure her away from critical areas, granting yourself momentary opportunities to sprint to your next objective.

To survive long enough to escape, you must master the counter-attack mechanics. Locate and utilize various weapons, such as the shotgun or crossbow, to stun Granny temporarily.
