SLING THE DISC, SHATTER THE TARGET, AND DOMINATE THE LAWN IN THIS ADDICTIVELY COMPETITIVE OUTDOOR SPORTS CHALLENGE!
Forget static lawn games—Bottle Bash brings high-speed disc action to your next gathering! This deceptively simple game pits two teams against each other in a thrilling battle of accuracy and defense, turning any backyard or beach into an intense arena for victory.
The objective is clear: hurl the frisbee to strike the opposing team’s bottle off its pole. But beware—the defending team must master the art of the catch, needing to snag both the disc and the potentially falling bottle to deny the offense crucial points and seize the momentum.
Momentum is everything in this fast-paced contest, fueled by precision throws and clutch defensive grabs. Whether you are a frisbee pro fine-tuning your curve or a beginner just learning the toss, Bottle Bash offers an immediate, addictive challenge that will test your reflexes and strategy.
SPORTS GAMEPLAY
Bottle Bash requires a flat playing field where two adjustable poles are placed between 20 to 40 feet apart, depending on the desired difficulty and player skill level. Teams of two stand behind their designated pole, which is topped with the bottle—the primary target. The game begins with the offense attempting to violently knock the bottle down or force the disc past the defenders.
Scoring is multi-layered and fiercely contested. If the offense successfully knocks the bottle off the pole and the bottle hits the ground, they score 2 points. If the frisbee itself is not caught by the defender and hits the ground, the offense scores 1 point. Points are awarded instantly upon the objects touching the ground.
However, the defender holds the power to negate these points entirely by successfully catching both the frisbee and the bottle before either touches the turf. Players must adhere strictly to the boundary rules, remaining behind their designated pole during both the throwing and catching phases. The ability to vary your throw—using velocity, curve, and height—is the ultimate strategy for baffling defenders and conquering the match.
Game Controls
- Throwing Hand: Initiate the powerful, targeted throw toward the opposing pole and bottle.
- Defending Hands: Execute fast, decisive grabs to catch the disc and the falling bottle.
- Footwork: Maintain rigid position behind the designated pole boundary line.
Pro Tips & Strategies
- Prioritize the Bottle: While catching the frisbee is valuable (denying 1 point), always focus defensive attention on preventing the bottle from hitting the ground, as this denies the offense the critical 2-point score.
- Master the Curve: Utilize a sidearm or high-arching throw to make the disc difficult to catch cleanly, forcing the defenders to break position or juggle both objects simultaneously.
- Adjust the Distance: For beginners, start at the 20-foot distance to ensure consistent action and easy progression. For seasoned players looking for maximum difficulty, push the poles out to 40 feet to truly test throwing accuracy.
